Dan Jorgensen (swimmer)

Dan Jorgensen (born April 26, 1968) is an American former competition swimmer. He competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, and the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.

At the 1988 Olympics, Jorgensen won a silver medal as a member of the second-place U.S. team in the men's 4×200-meter freestyle relay. He also competed in the individual 200-meter freestyle, finishing in 7th place.

In 1992, Jorgensen again swam in the men's 4x200-meter freestyle relay, this time earning a bronze medal. He also participated in the individual 200-meter freestyle, finishing in 14th place.

Prior to his Olympic appearances, Jorgensen swam collegiately for the University of Southern California (USC). He achieved All-American honors multiple times during his college career.
