Chuqu Chuquni (Bolivia)

Chuqu Chuquni is a community located in the La Paz Department of Bolivia. It is situated in the altiplano region, characterized by high altitude plains and a relatively dry climate. Chuqu Chuquni is primarily inhabited by indigenous Aymara people, and Aymara is the predominant language spoken. The economy is largely based on subsistence agriculture, including crops such as potatoes, quinoa, and other cold-weather staples. Livestock raising, primarily llamas and sheep, is also an important economic activity. Like many rural communities in Bolivia, Chuqu Chuquni faces challenges related to access to education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
