Curtis King (baseball)

Curtis King (born August 26, 1960 in San Diego, California) is a former professional baseball player. He was a right-handed pitcher who played briefly in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles in 1986.

King was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 11th round of the 1978 MLB Draft, but did not sign. He was later drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 6th round of the 1982 MLB Draft and signed with the team.

He made his major league debut on September 7, 1986, and appeared in a total of 4 games for the Orioles that season. He pitched 5.1 innings, allowing 8 hits and 6 earned runs, with 1 strikeout and 4 walks. He did not record a win or a loss.

Following his brief major league stint, King continued to play in the minor leagues. His professional baseball career ended after the 1987 season.
