Curraha

Curraha is a townland and civil parish in County Meath, Ireland. It is located approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) southeast of Trim. The name Curraha is derived from the Irish Currach Átha, meaning "marsh of the ford".

The civil parish of Curraha is situated in the barony of Upper Moyfenrath. It encompasses a relatively small geographical area. Historically, the area was primarily agricultural.

The area contains a church, a primary school, and a small community centre. While Curraha itself is a relatively small and rural area, it is within commuting distance of Dublin and other larger towns in Meath. The economy of the area is largely based on agriculture and commuter traffic to Dublin.
