Cooper Rush

Cooper Rush (born November 21, 1993) is an American football quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Central Michigan University, where he was a four-year starter.

Rush was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He spent several seasons as a backup quarterback for the Cowboys, primarily behind Dak Prescott. In 2021, he made his first NFL start, leading the Cowboys to a victory against the Minnesota Vikings. In 2022, Rush served as the Cowboys' starting quarterback for five games while Prescott was injured, leading the team to a 4-1 record during that span. He was signed by the Los Angeles Rams in 2024.

Rush is known for his poise, accuracy, and ability to manage the game effectively. While not possessing elite arm strength, he is considered a capable backup quarterback who can step in and win games when needed.
