Code (band)
Code is a Norwegian avant-garde black metal band formed in Oslo in 2005. The band is known for its experimental approach to black metal, incorporating elements of progressive rock, electronica, and classical music.
History
Code was founded by vocalist Viper and guitarist Aort. The band's initial lineup also included bassist Lord Erlend and drummer Trym. They released their debut album, Nouveau Gloaming, in 2005, which established their unique and genre-bending sound. The band continued to evolve their sound on subsequent albums. Resplendent Grotesque (2009) further explored progressive elements and experimental song structures.
