CoCo (band)
CoCo was a British pop band active primarily in the early 1980s. They are best known for their hit single "Bad Reputation," which reached the top 20 in the UK Singles Chart in 1981.
The band consisted of Polly (vocals), Eve (bass), and Jane (drums). They signed with Rialto Records and released several singles, but "Bad Reputation" remains their most recognizable song. The band's music blended pop sensibilities with a new wave edge.
After the success of "Bad Reputation," CoCo struggled to replicate its chart performance with subsequent releases. They eventually disbanded in the mid-1980s. While short-lived, CoCo is remembered for their distinctive sound and contribution to the early 1980s British pop scene. Details regarding their activity post-disbandment are scarce.
