Cindy Yen
Cindy Yen (袁詠琳, Yuán Yǒnglín; born November 14, 1981) is a Taiwanese-American singer, songwriter, pianist, and actress. She is known for her collaborations with Jay Chou, and was the first artist to be signed under Chou's record label, JVR Music. Yen's music style incorporates elements of R&B, pop, and classical music, reflecting her background as a classically trained pianist. She released her debut album, Cindy Yen, in 2009, which featured the popular song "Sand Painting" (畫沙) with Jay Chou. Since then, she has released several albums and EPs, and has also ventured into acting, appearing in various television dramas and films. She continues to be active in the music industry, writing and performing her own material.
