Chris Donovan (director)

Chris Donovan is a Canadian film and television director. He is known for his work in both documentary and fiction genres. Donovan has directed episodes of television series such as Trailer Park Boys, Kim's Convenience, and Workin' Moms. He also directed the feature film Adult Adoption, which premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival. Donovan's work often explores themes of family, relationships, and identity, frequently employing humor and pathos. He has been nominated for and won several awards for his directing work, including Canadian Screen Awards. Prior to directing, Donovan worked as a writer and producer.
