Chris Bunch

Chris Bunch (1943-2005) was an American science fiction and fantasy author. He was best known for his Sten series, co-written with Allan Cole, a military science fiction saga following the career of a conscript turned elite soldier. Bunch also wrote several other science fiction and fantasy novels under his own name, often featuring themes of warfare, honor, and survival in harsh environments. Before becoming a full-time writer, Bunch served in the Vietnam War and worked in advertising. His experiences in the military and marketing significantly influenced his writing style and subject matter. Notable works aside from the Sten series include Star Risk, Ltd. and The Seediest Galaxy.
