Central District (Galugah County)

The Central District is one of the two districts comprising Galugah County in Mazandaran Province, Iran. Its administrative center is the city of Galugah. According to the 2016 census, its population was 47,502 inhabitants.

The Central District includes two rural districts (dehestans): Galugah Rural District and Qaleh Rud-e Shur Rural District. It also contains one city: Galugah. The district is predominantly agricultural, with rice cultivation being a significant economic activity.
