Djékanou

Djékanou is a town located in the Bélier Region of Côte d'Ivoire. It is a sub-prefecture and the seat of the department of Djékanou. The town lies approximately 25 kilometers southeast of Toumodi, the regional capital. The population of Djékanou, according to the 2021 census, was 47,130. The local economy is primarily based on agriculture, with cocoa and coffee being prominent crops. Djékanou is also a center for trade and commerce in the surrounding area.
