Cambridge and Bedfordshire North (European Parliament constituency)
Cambridge and Bedfordshire North was a European Parliament constituency covering the area described in the name in England. It existed from 1994 to 1999.
Prior to its creation in 1994, the area was part of the Cambridge and Bedfordshire constituency.
Following its abolition in 1999, the constituency was absorbed into the much larger East of England constituency.
The constituency elected one Member of the European Parliament (MEP) using the first-past-the-post electoral system.
While the constituency was named Cambridge and Bedfordshire North, its boundaries shifted slightly over its short lifespan. The exact area covered was subject to parliamentary boundary reviews. However, it consistently included Cambridge, the northern parts of Bedfordshire, and surrounding areas.
Key towns within the constituency typically included Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Neots, and Biggleswade.
