Cam Ward (politician)

Cam Ward (born October 25, 1972) is an American politician from the state of Alabama. He served as a Republican member of the Alabama State Senate representing the 17th district from 2010 to 2022. Previously, he served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2002 to 2010, representing the 54th district.

Ward's legislative priorities often focused on issues related to business, economic development, and criminal justice reform. He has been a vocal advocate for creating a more business-friendly environment in Alabama and for implementing policies aimed at reducing recidivism and improving the state's criminal justice system.
