CMLL International Gran Prix (2016)

The CMLL International Gran Prix (2016) was a professional wrestling tournament held by the Mexican promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). It was the fifteenth overall International Gran Prix tournament promoted by CMLL, and the second held under the "Gran Prix" name since the tournament was revived in 1994. The tournament featured a one-night, 16-man torneo cibernetico elimination match. Eight CMLL representatives faced eight international wrestlers representing various countries. The event took place on September 2, 2016, in Arena Mexico in Mexico City. The tournament was won by Matt Taven, who last eliminated Volador Jr.
