Càrn Dearg (Corrour)
Càrn Dearg (Corrour) is a Scottish mountain located near the head of Loch Ossian and west of the Corrour railway station. It is classified as a Munro, a Scottish mountain over 3,000 feet (914.4 metres) in height, and a Marilyn, a hill with a relative height of at least 150 metres. The name "Càrn Dearg" is Gaelic, meaning "red cairn."
The mountain is typically climbed from Corrour station, utilizing the track alongside Loch Ossian. The ascent involves traversing moorland and ascending steep, rocky slopes to reach the summit. The summit itself offers extensive views of the surrounding mountains, including the Ben Nevis range and the Mamores.
