Bomb Factory (band)

Bomb Factory was an American heavy metal band formed in Dallas, Texas in 1991. They are notable for their aggressive sound, blending elements of thrash metal, groove metal, and hardcore punk. The band gained a significant local following and eventually signed with a major label, Metal Blade Records.

Their debut album, Scarecrow, was released in 1993 and garnered positive reviews, helping to establish the band within the metal scene. They toured extensively in support of the album, opening for prominent acts such as Pantera and Sepultura.

Bomb Factory released a second album, Outreddin, in 1996. While continuing in a similar vein to their debut, it did not achieve the same level of commercial success. The band experienced internal conflicts and lineup changes in the following years.

Bomb Factory eventually disbanded in the late 1990s. While their active period was relatively short, they are remembered for their energetic live performances and contributions to the Texas metal scene. Several members went on to other musical projects.

Reunions have occurred sporadically, including performances at local festivals. These appearances served as a reminder of the band's impact on the Dallas metal community.
