Bill Heath (politician)
Bill Heath is an American politician from the state of Tennessee. He served as a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for District 26, representing Bradley County.
Heath was first elected to the Tennessee House in 2006 and served until 2018, when he chose not to seek re-election. During his tenure, he served on several committees, including the Finance, Ways, and Means Committee, the Education Committee, and the Government Operations Committee. He was known for his conservative views and his focus on fiscal responsibility and education reform.
Following his time in the legislature, Heath was appointed to the Tennessee Regulatory Authority (TRA), where he served from 2019 to 2023. The TRA regulates utilities and telecommunications companies in Tennessee. His role as a TRA member involved overseeing rates and services provided by these companies.
