Bill Beckwith (footballer)

William "Bill" Beckwith (born February 16, 1958) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Geelong Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Beckwith, a defender, played 80 senior games for Geelong between 1978 and 1984. He was known for his strong marking and reliable disposal. He was a consistent performer in the Geelong backline throughout his career. After retiring from the VFL, Beckwith continued to be involved in Australian rules football at a local level.
