Big Talk (band)

Big Talk is an American rock band formed in 2010. It is primarily the solo project of Ronnie Vannucci Jr., best known as the drummer for The Killers. The band's music is generally considered alternative rock, often drawing comparisons to power pop and garage rock.

Vannucci handles vocals, guitar, and bass on most of Big Talk's recordings. For live performances and certain studio tracks, he is joined by other musicians. The original lineup featured Taylor Milne on guitar and Brooks Wackerman (formerly of Bad Religion and currently of Avenged Sevenfold) on drums for live shows, though the lineup has shifted over time.

Big Talk released their self-titled debut album in 2011 on Epitaph Records. The album featured a mix of catchy melodies and Vannucci's distinctive drumming style. While Big Talk has been described as a side project, Vannucci has expressed his passion for the band and its potential for future releases.

While Big Talk's activity has been intermittent due to Vannucci's commitments with The Killers, the band remains a notable part of Vannucci's musical career.
