BibleWalk
BibleWalk, also known as The Living Bible Museum, was a Christian wax museum located in Mansfield, Ohio. Opened in 1987 and closed permanently in 2024, it featured over 300 life-size wax figures arranged in approximately 88 scenes depicting events and figures from the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, as well as Christian history. The museum was organized into several themed tours, each lasting approximately one hour, covering different sections of the Bible. Notable tours included the Miracles of Jesus, the Life of Christ, and the Reformation. BibleWalk aimed to provide a visual and immersive experience of biblical stories for visitors of all ages. It relied on donations and admission fees for operation and was staffed primarily by volunteers. The museum also included a gift shop and refreshment area. Its closure in 2024 was attributed to declining attendance and financial challenges.
