Benedykt (bishop of Poznań)

Benedykt (died before 1216) was a Polish Roman Catholic bishop. He served as the Bishop of Poznań from approximately 1211 to 1215. Little is definitively known about his background or his episcopate. Historical records relating to Benedykt are sparse, and details regarding specific actions or events during his time as bishop are largely undocumented. He is succeeded by Paweł as Bishop of Poznań. The exact reasons for the end of his episcopate (death or resignation) are not known, however, his successor was appointed in 1216, thus setting the timeframe for his death.
