Belshazzar's Feast (band)

Belshazzar's Feast is an English folk duo composed of Paul Sartin (oboe, violin, cor anglais, vocals) and Paul Hutchinson (accordion). Formed in 1995, they are known for their distinctive and virtuosic arrangements of traditional English folk tunes, as well as their humorous and often irreverent stage presence. Their performances typically blend instrumental skill with comedic interplay, improvisation, and storytelling.

The band's repertoire includes interpretations of morris dance tunes, carols, sea shanties, and other traditional melodies, often reimagined with unexpected harmonies and rhythms. Their live shows frequently incorporate audience participation and lighthearted banter, contributing to their reputation as an engaging and entertaining act.
