Ark (The Animals album)

Ark is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band The Animals, released in June 1983. It marked a reunion of the band's original lineup, featuring Eric Burdon, Alan Price, Hilton Valentine, Chas Chandler, and John Steel.

The album's title, Ark, is a reference to the band reuniting and bringing their music back. It signified a return to their roots and a renewed creative energy after a long period of inactivity for the classic lineup.

The album was produced by Alan Price. Musically, Ark retained some of the band's signature blues-rock sound, but also incorporated elements of contemporary rock and pop music of the early 1980s.

Key tracks on the album include "The Night," which was released as a single, and "Love Is for All Time." While Ark did not achieve the commercial success of The Animals' earlier work, it was generally well-received by critics and fans as a solid and welcome reunion album. It demonstrated that the original lineup could still create compelling music together.
