Animal (2014 film)

Animal is a 2014 American horror film directed by Brett Simmons. The film stars Joey Lauren Adams, Eve, Elizabeth Gillies, Paul Iacono, Keke Palmer, Amaury Nolasco, and Jeremy Sumpter.

The plot revolves around a group of close-knit friends who find themselves terrorized by a bloodthirsty, unidentified creature while on a camping trip in a secluded forest. Seeking refuge in an abandoned cabin, they are soon trapped and must fight for their survival against the relentless, savage animal.

The film was produced by Flower Films, a production company co-founded by Drew Barrymore. Animal was released on iTunes on June 13, 2014, and subsequently on DVD and Blu-ray. The film received generally negative reviews, with critics citing predictable plot elements and underdeveloped characters.
