Amy Myers (artist)

Amy Myers (born c. 1970s) is an American abstract artist known for her densely layered, often biomorphic paintings and works on paper. Her process involves building up surfaces with multiple layers of paint, collage, and other media, creating complex and textured compositions.

Myers' work explores themes of nature, science, and the human condition. Her paintings often evoke microscopic or macroscopic views of the natural world, suggesting growth, decay, and transformation. She draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including scientific imagery, biological forms, and personal experiences.

Myers has exhibited her work in galleries and museums across the United States and internationally. She holds an MFA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA from Brown University.
