Alijilán

Alijilán is a municipality located in the Catamarca Province of Argentina. It is part of the Andalgalá Department. The town of Alijilán serves as the administrative center for the municipality. Its economy is primarily based on agriculture, particularly viticulture (grape growing) and olive cultivation, as well as livestock farming. The region is known for its arid climate and picturesque landscapes characteristic of the Catamarca Province. The municipality is comprised of a few small villages and rural communities surrounding the main town.
