Alfena
Alfena is a village and former municipality in the municipality of Alphen-Chaam, in the province of North Brabant, Netherlands. Prior to 1997, Alfena was part of the municipality of Alphen en Riel. It is located southeast of Alphen. Alfena has a notable concentration of agricultural activity and a relatively dispersed population. The name is likely derived from its geographical location or historical significance, though detailed etymological information is sparse. Its current status as a village within a larger municipality means local governance is handled at the Alphen-Chaam level.
