Alex Okosi

Alex Okosi is a media and entertainment executive known for his contributions to the growth of ViacomCBS Networks Africa (now Paramount Africa). He is credited with launching MTV Base, MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, and Paramount Channel across the African continent.

Okosi served as the Executive Vice President and Managing Director of ViacomCBS Networks Africa and BET International. During his tenure, he oversaw the expansion of the company's brands and content across various platforms, including television, digital, and mobile. He also played a significant role in developing and promoting African talent through initiatives like the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA).

Following his time at ViacomCBS, Okosi joined YouTube as Managing Director, Emerging Markets in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). In this role, he focused on expanding YouTube's presence and impact in key emerging markets. He has also been involved in various initiatives aimed at supporting creators and fostering innovation within the digital media landscape.
