Alex Norris (British politician)

Alex Norris (born 20 January 1984) is a British Labour Party politician. He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Nottingham North since the 2017 general election.

Norris was educated at Bilborough College and the University of Nottingham. Prior to entering Parliament, he worked for the University of Nottingham Students' Union. He also served as a Nottingham City Councillor for the Basford ward from 2011 to 2017.

In Parliament, Norris has served on various committees, including the Petitions Committee. He has also held shadow ministerial positions, including Shadow Minister for Levelling Up, Housing, Communities and Local Government, and Shadow Minister for Policing.
