Adam Brown (actor)
Adam Brown is an American actor and comedian, best known for his role as Orge in The Hobbit film trilogy. Born in Livonia, Michigan, Brown began his career with the comedy troupe, CollegeHumor, creating, writing, and acting in various sketches.
His portrayal of Orge, a member of the Company of Thorin Oakenshield, in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013), and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014) brought him international recognition. The character of Orge was created specifically for the films and did not appear in J.R.R. Tolkien's original novel.
