AJWright

AJWright was a discount retail chain owned by The TJX Companies, which also owns T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and Sierra. AJWright stores offered clothing, home decor, footwear, and accessories at discounted prices. The target demographic was primarily moderate-income families. The chain differentiated itself by focusing on a broader range of sizes and styles than some of its sister stores.

AJWright was founded in 1998 and grew to over 90 stores, primarily located in the eastern United States.

In 2011, The TJX Companies announced the closure of all AJWright stores. Many of the locations were converted into T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, or HomeGoods stores, while others were closed entirely. The decision was made to streamline the company's operations and focus on its more profitable brands. The last AJWright stores closed in early 2011.
