2018–19 National League (ice hockey) season

The 2018–19 National League season was the 81st season of the National League (NL), the top professional ice hockey league in Switzerland. The season began in September 2018 and concluded in April 2019 with the championship final.

The regular season consisted of 50 rounds, with each of the 12 teams playing each other four times. The top eight teams at the end of the regular season qualified for the playoffs, while the bottom four teams were entered into a playout round.

The playoffs were a best-of-seven series format. The quarter-finals pitted the top seed against the eighth seed, the second seed against the seventh seed, the third seed against the sixth seed, and the fourth seed against the fifth seed. The winners of the quarter-finals advanced to the semi-finals, and the winners of the semi-finals advanced to the final.

The playout round determined which team would face relegation. The two losing teams from the first round of the playouts played a best-of-seven series to determine the team that would face the winner of the Swiss League playoffs in a best-of-seven relegation/promotion series.

SC Bern won the championship, defeating EV Zug in the final.
