1929 French Championships (tennis)

The 1929 French Championships, known at the time as the French Open, was a Grand Slam tennis tournament held at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France. The tournament took place from May 26 to June 3, 1929. It was the 34th staging of the French Championships and the second Grand Slam tournament of the year.

The singles champions were René Lacoste, who won the men's singles title, and Helen Wills Moody, who won the women's singles title. Lacoste defeated Jean Borotra in the men's final, while Wills Moody defeated Simonne Mathieu in the women's final.

The men's doubles title was won by René Lacoste and Jean Borotra. The women's doubles title was won by Lilí de Álvarez and Kornelia Bouman. The mixed doubles title was won by Henri Cochet and Eileen Bennett.
