Ōpaheke

Ōpaheke is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. It is located in the southern part of the Auckland metropolitan area, within the boundaries of the Auckland Council. Ōpaheke is situated to the east of Papakura and to the west of Drury.

The name Ōpaheke is of Māori origin. While the exact meaning is subject to interpretation, it is often understood to refer to a place of "slippery flax" or a similar description relating to local flora or geographical features.
