Xie Zhen (footballer)

Xie Zhen (born January 14, 1985) is a Chinese professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder.

Xie Zhen began his football career playing for Shandong Luneng's youth academy. He was promoted to the first team in 2004. While with Shandong, he primarily played in the reserve squad and had limited opportunities in the senior team.

In 2009, Xie Zhen transferred to Nanchang Bayi Hengyuan (later renamed Shanghai Shenxin), where he established himself as a regular member of the team. He played a significant role in their midfield, contributing to their promotion to the Chinese Super League.
