Willie Walsh (hurler, born 1948)

Willie Walsh (born 1948) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a right corner-back for the Kilkenny senior team.

Walsh enjoyed a successful inter-county career, primarily during the 1970s. He won three All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championships (1969, 1972, and 1975), five Leinster Senior Hurling Championships, and one National Hurling League title. He was also an All-Star award winner in 1972.

At club level, Walsh played with Tullaroan. His performances for club and county earned him a reputation as a tough and dependable defender.
