William Roy Smith (politician)

William Roy Smith (born August 24, 1875, died November 28, 1954) was a Republican politician from Iowa.

Smith served as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives representing Pottawattamie County from 1915 to 1917, and again from 1933 to 1937. He then served in the Iowa State Senate representing the 11th district from 1937 to 1941. His political career focused primarily on agricultural issues and rural infrastructure development. He was a farmer and livestock breeder.
