William Jupp
William Jupp (1804-1887) was a notable Sussex cricketer during the early development of the sport. He was primarily known as a bowler and batsman, and his career spanned from the 1820s to the 1840s. Jupp played for Sussex County Cricket Club, as well as various other teams of the era, including England XI sides in some representative matches. Details of his specific statistics are incomplete due to the nature of record-keeping at the time, but he is recognized as one of the prominent figures in cricket's formative years. He is not to be confused with later cricketers sharing the same or similar name. His contribution helped establish the foundation upon which modern cricket was built.
