Widowmaker (album)
Widowmaker is the self-titled debut studio album by the American heavy metal band Widowmaker, released in 1992. The band featured Dee Snider, formerly of Twisted Sister, along with Al Pitrelli and Marc Russel. The album leaned towards a heavier, more aggressive sound compared to Snider's previous work, incorporating elements of thrash metal and hard rock. The album's lyrical content focused on themes of social commentary, personal struggles, and darker aspects of life. While the album received some positive reviews and generated moderate interest due to Snider's prior fame, it did not achieve significant commercial success. The album was followed by a second album, Stand By For Pain, in 1994 before the band dissolved.
