Wayne County Courthouse (Iowa)

The Wayne County Courthouse, located in Corydon, Iowa, serves as the center of government for Wayne County. Completed in 1891, the courthouse is a significant example of Romanesque Revival architecture. Constructed of red brick with limestone trim, the building features a prominent central clock tower, arched windows, and detailed cornices. The design is attributed to architect George E. King.

The courthouse replaced an earlier, smaller structure that proved inadequate for the growing county's needs.
