Wang Kai (footballer, born 1983)

Wang Kai (王凯) (born January 24, 1983) is a Chinese football player who currently plays as a defender for Tianjin Jinmen Tiger.

Career

Wang Kai began his football career playing for Tianjin Locomotive's youth team. He then joined Tianjin Teda's youth academy before being promoted to the first team in 2002. Throughout his time with Tianjin Teda, he established himself as a reliable defender, known for his tackling and defensive positioning. He remained with Tianjin Teda until 2016.

In 2017, Wang Kai transferred to Tianjin Quanjian, which was later renamed Tianjin Tianhai. He played for them until the club was dissolved in 2020.

In 2021, Wang Kai joined Tianjin Jinmen Tiger.
