WGVL (TV)

WGVL (TV) is a defunct television station formerly licensed to Greenville, South Carolina, United States. It broadcast on UHF channel 23. While owned by Carolina Christian Broadcasting, Inc., it was primarily a religious independent station.

The station signed on the air in 1985. It struggled financially and ultimately ceased broadcasting in 1998. The license was surrendered to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and cancelled.

The call letters WGVL are now used by a low-power television station in Gainesville, Florida. The current WGVL is unrelated to the former Greenville station.
