Vltava (steamboat)

The Vltava is a historic paddle steamer operating on the Vltava River in Prague, Czech Republic. Built in 1940 by the Škoda Works in Prague, it is one of the last remaining operational steamers of its kind in the Czech Republic and represents a significant example of Czech engineering and nautical history.

The Vltava was originally used for passenger transport between Prague and Štěchovice, a popular recreational area south of the city. It continued to operate on this route and other excursions for several decades.
