Vamberk
Vamberk is a town in the Rychnov nad Kněžnou District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It is located approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) west of Rychnov nad Kněžnou.
The town is known for its tradition of lacemaking, dating back to the 17th century. This tradition is closely linked to the story of Magdalena Grammová, who is said to have taught the craft to local women after learning it during her travels.
Vamberk features the Museum of Lace, which showcases the history and artistry of lacemaking in the region, as well as examples of local lace. The town also has the pilgrimage Church of Saint Prokop, an important religious site.
