Underworld (Divinyls album)
Underworld is the fifth and final studio album by Australian rock band Divinyls, released in Australia on 22 January 1996 and in the United States on 5 March 1996. It was produced by Peter Solley, known for his work with acts like Motörhead. The album features the singles "I'm Jealous" and "Human on the Inside," both of which received moderate radio airplay and chart success. Underworld marked a shift towards a more polished, contemporary rock sound compared to their earlier, more raw and edgy work. Despite the changes, the album retained the signature vocals of Chrissy Amphlett and the musical contributions of Mark McEntee. Underworld was not a major commercial success and ultimately led to the band's dissolution in the late 1990s, although they briefly reunited later.
