USS Silver Cloud (1862)

The USS Silver Cloud was a tinclad gunboat that served in the United States Navy during the American Civil War. Commissioned in 1862, she was primarily deployed in operations along the Mississippi River and its tributaries, contributing to the Union blockade and efforts to control vital waterways.
