Delfí Geli
Delfí Geli Roura (born 22 April 1969) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a right-back.
Geli spent the majority of his career with Girona FC, where he also served as president after his playing retirement.
His playing career included spells with FC Barcelona B, Albacete Balompié, Atlético Madrid, and Deportivo Alavés, as well as a brief return to Girona. He was a key member of the Alavés team that reached the 2001 UEFA Cup Final, where he unfortunately scored an own goal in extra time, resulting in a 5-4 defeat to Liverpool.
After retiring from professional football, Geli remained connected to the sport and to Girona FC. He eventually became president of the club, overseeing a period of growth and success, including promotion to La Liga. His role as president ended in 2024.
