The name USS Manta has been assigned to two submarines of the United States Navy.

USS Manta (SS-91): A Narwhal-class submarine. Commissioned in 1921 and decommissioned in 1937. She served primarily in experimental roles, including testing sonar and underwater communication technologies.

USS Manta (SS-299): A Balao-class submarine. Commissioned in 1944 and decommissioned in 1946. She served in the Pacific Theater during World War II, conducting patrols and engaging enemy shipping. She earned two battle stars for her service. Following decommissioning, she was placed in reserve before eventually being sold for scrap in 1962.
