Tom Smith (Australian footballer)

Tom Smith is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Smith was drafted by North Melbourne with pick 21 in the 2002 AFL Draft. He was a medium-sized defender known for his strong marking and ability to read the play. He made his AFL debut in 2003.

Smith played 13 games for North Melbourne between 2003 and 2006. His career was unfortunately hampered by injuries, which ultimately led to his retirement from professional football. After his AFL career, Smith continued to play football at a local level.
